Gulhilal Alakus - Traditional & Modern Miniature Artist 

Gulhilal Alakus, was born in Istanbul in 1989.

She continued her classical illumination lessons, which she started to take in 2007, with Gulnihal Kupeli and Orhan Dagli. She took flower painting lessons from Hulya Korkmaz and watercolor lessons from Isil Ozisik. She took miniature lessons from Dilek Yerlikaya in 2012 and from Taner Alakuş and Raif Aydın at the National Palaces Yıldız Palace Sale Mansion in 2013 - 2014.

Alakus has won the third prize in the ISMEK Art Competitions in the miniature category with her wooden work named "Zamane". In 2015, she gave traditional arts education at a private educational institution.

In 2016, she took pencil drawing lessons from Aytac Armagan at the Art Mansion Workshop.

In 2017, she continued to improve herself by taking Basic Art Education from Savas Cevik.

Alakus has participated in many group exhibitions and opened her own exhibition at Vesaire Art Gallery in 2018.
